You’ve probably seen this face on our page before and definitely behind the counter.
This is Dave, one of the owners of Aardvark Pizza & Sub, serving slices in Banff since 1990. Dave and his wife Maria, took over the shop when they were just in their early 20s after moving to Banff for the skiing and the community. What started as a bit of a gamble turned into more than three decades of feeding locals and visitors alike.
From late-night slices after a night out to aprés ski pizza and chilly morning breakfast deliveries, Dave’s been slinging pies on Caribou Street for a long time. Fresh pizza, familiar faces behind the counter, and a place that’s been part of Banff life for decades.
If you’ve grabbed a slice here over the years, chances are Dave had a hand in it (and maybe even handed it to you).
